DAEG Community and Support

Welcome to the DAEG community! All families who have a child in the Idea program in the Darien Public School System are automatically a member of our community and we welcome you! As a member, if you have opted into our mailing list, you will receive some of the following benefits:

1. Access to resources and articles on our website year-round
2. Invitations to social events for students and parents
3. Invitations to a luncheon with a notable/expert speaker during years offered
4. Access to parent or student panels on relevant topics
5. Periodic emails highlighting program information, as needed

Please consider supporting DAEG! Your donation can support different aspects of our non-profit that help us operate, and acknowledge and support our teachers.

An annual family contribution will help to maintain our non-profit status. It will help cover things like insurance, an annual business filing with the state, web hosting and fees associated with technology. This also allows you to register for events, receive periodic communications and utilize our website resources and database privileges.

We rely on these donations to help cover our operating expenses to keep the organization running smoothly so that we can best advocate for the needs of our gifted children.

Of course, if you are so inclined to contribute more, the additional funds will be earmarked for supporting staff development opportunities through our Barbara Harrington Grant.
