BARBARA HARRINGTON GRANTS
The Barbara Harrington Fund was established in 1984 by Darien Advocates for Education of the Gifted (DAEG) to honor Barbara Harrington, retired Darien teacher and founder of The Idea Program for gifted students in Darien. Each year, teachers in the district may seek out supplemental professional development opportunities that can enrich their students classrooms. DAEG looks to also partner with other non-profits to bring leading experts on gifted education to the district and to our parents for speaking engagements.
