Middlesex Middle School Students Achieve High Honors in

Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) Academic Talent Search

June 2026

Eleven Middlesex Middle School students were awarded High Honors in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) 2025-2026 Academic Talent Search.  In order to qualify for High Honors, students must earn a score on the SAT or ACT exam that reflects ability approximately four grade levels above their currently enrolled grade.  CTY has awarded High Honors to the following MMS students this year: Grace Gong, Grayson Holland, Parker Harris, Sean O’Connor, Darren Lam, August Ranney, Ameyaa Agrawal, Charlotte Adams, Fiona Sun, Katie Yoo and Ranya Hussain.

Twelve Middlesex Middle School students were awarded High Honors in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) 2024-2025 Academic Talent Search. In order to qualify for High Honors, students must earn a score on the SAT or ACT exam that reflects ability approximately four grade levels above their currently enrolled grade. CTY has awarded High Honors to the following MMS students this year. Top row 7th graders from left to right: Julia Graziosa, Tyler Harris, Grayson Holland, Daniel Hrycay, Nevaeh Hu, Yuta Kimura and Aarav Shah. Bottom row 8th graders from left to right: Pavana Attonito, Finn Berger, Jack Ezbiansky, Sophie Hart and Ryan Kim. Aarav Shah and Yuta Kimura received the additional distinction of Grand Honors for being among the highest scorers in 7th grade worldwide this year.

Ten Middlesex Middle School students were awarded High Honors in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) 2023-2024 Academic Talent Search.  In order to qualify for High Honors, students must earn a score on the SAT or ACT exam that reflects ability approximately four grade levels above their currently enrolled grade.   CTY has awarded High Honors to the following MMS students (pictured from left to right): 7th graders Pavana Attonito, Oliver Katz and Harris Moeller; 8th graders Aarna Agrawal, Elena Cappella, Masaki Kimura, Kelsey Madson and Momo Schoenemann (Clayton Adams and Sklyer Johnson not pictured).   Pavana Attonito and Masaki Kimura received the additional distinction of Grand Honors for being among the highest scorers worldwide this year.
